This page says what we collect, why, and what we do not do. It is short because we run a small operation and collect very little.
Who is responsible
NextFrame Productions, Kampioensingel 45, 2492 WT Den Haag, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 95134107, VAT number NL005132416B20 is the data controller for this website. For anything on this page, write to thewisetravelerguide@outlook.com.
If you only visit the site
We do not run analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies on this page.
One thing does leave your browser: the fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address in order to serve them. That is the only third party contacted by a page view.
If you buy a guide
Checkout runs on Payhip, with card processing by Stripe. To complete a sale and deliver your file, they process:
- your name and email address;
- your payment details — these go to Stripe directly and we never see or store your card number;
- your country, and where required your address or tax number, because tax on digital goods depends on where you are;
- the order itself: what you bought, when, and for how much.
We receive your name, your email address, your country and your order — nothing more. We use that to deliver the guide, to answer you if you write, to send free updated editions, and to keep the records that tax law requires us to keep.
We email you your download, and we email you when a guide is updated. We do not sell, rent or share your address with anyone, and we do not send unrelated marketing. Ask us to stop and we stop.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax law requires — for most sellers that is seven years. Email correspondence is kept while it is useful to answer you and deleted afterwards.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to thewisetravelerguide@outlook.com and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU or the UK, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
One limit worth stating plainly: we cannot delete an order record that tax law obliges us to keep. Everything else can go.
Children
These guides are written for adult travellers and this site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
